On Loyalty by Ayn Rand

One of the nice parts of having my own blog is being able to express myself, sometimes using the words of others.  As we grow older, our priorities change and I find that a trait that I need in people I spend time with is loyalty.  Without it, there is no point in a relationship.  Would love to hear your thoughts........................

"Achievement of your happiness is the only moral purpose of your life, and that happiness, not pain or mindless self-indulgence, is the proof of your moral integrity, since it is the proof and the result of your loyalty to the achievement of your values."
---Ann Rand

LOYALTY..................

Loyalty cannot be blueprinted. It cannot be produced on an assembly line.
In fact, it cannot be manufactured at all, for its origin is the human heart-the center of self-respect and human dignity.
It is a force which leaps into being only when conditions are exactly right for it-and it is a force very sensitive to betrayal.
