"Cara Mia" is a popular song published in 1954, and became a hit for English singer David Whitfield in 1954 and the American pop group Jay and the Americans in 1965. The title means "my beloved" in Italian.
This recording made the charts in the United States, and in the UK it was the first record to spend ten consecutive weeks in the number one slot on the UK Singles Chart.[1]
Whitfield's second number one was one of the biggest selling British records in the pre-rock days.[1] It sold well over one million copies worldwide, and Whitfield joined Vera Lynn in the small rank of British stars who had achieved a Top 10 hit in America.[1]

What an inspiration it is to see a son follow in the footsteps of his father! Beau Black has the talent his father passed down to him and is sharing it with the world!

Photos were taken at Jay's 70th birthday "party" at Westbury on November 1, 2008.
What a unique, fun find -- a vintage beer cap belt! The belt is made of matte black rubber and has real, vintage beer caps riveted on it. The belt closes with a seat-belt like clasp. The inner circumference of the belt with the clasp closed and in place is 28". The belt is not adjustable. This belt is definitely a conversation piece!
These sunglasses are guaranteed authentic and in very good/excellent pre-owned condition, having been used only two times. The only issue is that several stitches have come out on the case as shown in photo. The frames are chic black plastic with gray gradient lenses. The case and lens wipe cloth are included.
